Thompson is touring with Building 429 this fall; finish his run as a headliner this weekend

Red Street Records artist Cade Thompson’s latest song, “Lost Without You”, is now available on all DSPs following his previous single, “Arms Of Jesus”. Click on here to listen. Thompson co-wrote “Lost Without You” with Jess Cates, Matt Armstrong and Micah Kuiper, who also produced the song. A music video should also be released next Friday.

“It’s a very personal song,” Thompson shared. “I was raised in the church, although I quickly discovered that the difficulties of growing up are universal. Through touring with music, I had the opportunity to speak about the lives of my peers at a young age, which gave me a window into such a variety of struggles, not to mention my own! years.

Thompson’s team said he has “a lifelong desire to create music that reaches people of all ages and strives to bridge the gap for people to bring their struggles to Jesus, which is in his arms alone that peace can be found”.

Following his 2021 album, “Bigger Story,” Thompson continues to release new music leading up to an album release in 2023. He wraps up his “Bigger Story” tour this weekend, before embarking on a road trip. autumn with Building 429. last dates here.

On “Lost Without You”, the singer shares “Here in this journey/Filled with beauty and doubt/I’ve reached the highest heights/Then I crash to the ground

A press release noted, “Thompson has had an affinity with music since he was a toddler, when even a preschool teacher noticed him harmonizing frequently early on and eventually progressed through piano lessons, guitar and drums. After joining the youth worship team in sixth grade, a musical mentor came into her life who emphasized the importance of seeking God through the Bible outside of a worship setting. This understanding set Thompson on a deeper path to encounter Father’s love and seek His presence more intensely. In his early teens, he knew God was calling him to music ministry and giving him opportunities to grow in that calling.

“God continued to reveal Thompson’s heart. The outpouring resulted in a strong bond with his generation sonically and lyrically.

Shortly after graduating from high school, he moved to Nashville. After moving, he signed a recording contract with Red Street Records, an independent Christian label founded by Rascal Flatts member Jay DeMarcus. In February 2020, Thompson made waves in the Christian music community with the release of her debut single, “Provider”. In August 2020, he earned his first Billboard Top 20 single, with the release of his second radio single, “Every Step of the Way”. He shared the stage with artists such as Michael W. Smith, TobyMac, Newsboys, Crowder and We The Kingdom, and also found success online, where his music has earned over 35 million streams to date.

Thompson kicked off in 2021 with a nationwide show lineup opening for some of CCM’s biggest names.
